Best Hotel Pools in the US: The PoolsideStays List

Short answer: this is our ranked shortlist of the pool properties with the strongest guest-review records in our current US research — ranked by review volume and score, shown with the data, not behind a curtain. Every property also shows its verification status; a famous pool still does not get a Verified badge until the property confirms its details with our team.

Rankings here are deliberately boring: most-reviewed and best-scored first. No property can pay for position — at launch our revenue comes from booking commissions that are the same mechanics for every listing, and the ranking formula above does not include them.

How we research and verify this list

PoolsideStays is built on direct evidence, not scraped slogans. Our research team — data scientists led by founder Jason Manning, who has stayed in close to 1,000 hotels across 120+ countries — compiles each listing from the property’s own public information, then contacts the hotel directly by email and phone to confirm the amenity and the exact room type that has it. A listing only carries a “Verified” badge once that confirmation is on file.

The listings on this page are compiled from public property and directory listings (October 2026) and are labeled "Listing in verification" until our direct confirmation lands. Ratings and listed rates are shown exactly as published and are labeled as listed — we never invent a rating, a price, or a phone call.

Read the full methodology: How we verify every listing. Last verified for this page: October 19, 2026 (research pass; direct property confirmations in progress).

Frequently asked questions

How many hotels with a pool in the US has PoolsideStays listed so far?

As of October 2026 we have listed 15 properties in the US from public property and directory listings. Our team is confirming each one directly with the property, and the count grows as confirmations come back — listings still being confirmed are labeled “Listing in verification.”

Are the a pool listings in the US verified?

Not yet — and we say so on every card. Each listing is compiled from the property's own public listings, then our research team contacts the hotel directly by email and phone to confirm the amenity and the exact room type that has it. Until that confirmation is on file the listing is labeled “Listing in verification” and we recommend confirming the amenity when you book.

Which the US hotel on this list has the most guest reviews?

Excalibur Hotel & Casino — 28,838 guest reviews, scoring 7.3/10. Review volume is a popularity signal, not a quality guarantee; it is one of the factors we show on every card.

What is the cheapest listed rate for a hotel with a pool in the US?

The lowest listed rate on this page is from $37/night at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. That is the rate shown on public listings in October 2026 — hotel rates move daily, so treat it as a starting point and check the current rate before you book.

How does PoolsideStays make money on the the US pages?

At launch, booking buttons on this site will carry affiliate links, and we may earn a commission when a reader books — at no extra cost to the reader. Rankings are never sold: a property's position comes from its listing data and review record, not from commissions. The full policy is on our affiliate disclosure page.

How is the “best hotel pools” ranking calculated?

From the listing data on this page: guest review count first (popularity and staying power), then average guest score. We publish the numbers on every card so you can re-rank it yourself. As our direct-verification program completes property by property, verified status will be shown alongside — but it does not buy rank.
